Origin Acoustics

Origin Acoustics

In 1976 Origin Acoustics Engineers Ken Humphries and Ed Haase began experimenting. Their goal, to turn the existing structure of your home into a resonance chamber in order to hide unsightly speakers. After extensive research, the architectural speaker was born. Ken, Ed, and their team went on to innovate and design OEM speakers for Bang and Olufsen, JBL, and many other leading brands.

Speakers for all enviroments

They went into manufacture in 2014 and since then we’ve been fitting their products as our ‘go to’ in wall and in ceiling speakers due to their flexibility and wide product range to suit all projects and budgets. Their ‘Producer’ range of speakers offer a great price to performance ratio that’s unrivalled from other in-ceiling speaker brands, and for the higher end project where audio fidelity is key, the ‘Director’ series offers great bass response coupled with crystal clear mid-range.

Why we like Origin Accoustics

Almost invisible

Every Origin Acoustics speaker hides behind an acoustically transparent grille. They can be painted any colour, and will simply disappear into your ceilings and walls. There when you need it, practically invisible when you don’t.

Lifetime guarantee

We don’t like to go back to our projects to replace failed components, which is why every origin acoustics speaker from the composer range comes with a manufacturer’s lifetime guarantee.

More bass, less space

Origin’s director collection offers unrivalled bass response from in ceiling speakers compared to all other speaker manufacturers that we’ve tested over the years.
