The benefits of TV distribution
Tv distribution can be established by designing and installing a centralised equipment location in a property. We’re able to send video sources such as Sky boxes, Apple TV’s and Blu-ray players out to any TV.
This allows for mess-free cabling and the ability to watch all the content our clients desire in any location. The ability to start watching something in the lounge and quickly ‘group’ the kitchen with it allows our clients to carry on watching the same TV show as they cook dinner.
Add to the mix a full integrated audio system and you can send the audio from what you’re watching to any room of the house. So you never need to miss out on the action.
Screen size
Depending on the size of your room and design layout, we are able to calculate which size television will show the best quality picture and sound depending on your wall size and seating layout.
As a general guideline, measure the distance from your TV to your seated eye position. Multiply this distance by 1.2 to obtain the average recommended TV size diagonally in inches.
For example: Eyes to TV distance is 58”.
58″ x 1.2 = 69.6”
So a 65” TV would be fine, you could push to a 75” if you felt brave!
If you do push to the bigger sizes we really recommend spending the money on a good display. Minimum 4K and preferably QLED or OLED etc as it can be less strain on the eye.
